Kadıköy (Only the registered members can see the linkıköy) çayırlarında top koşturan İngiliz gençlere yine ancak Rum gençleri eşlik edebilmekteydi. Yine de hemen her akşamüstü bilhassa Kuşdili Çayırı'nda yapılan bu futbol maçları ya da antrenmanları, Kadıköy halkının büyük bir kesiminin ilgisini çekmekte, genellikle akşamüstleri zevk için de olsa oynanan bu futbol oyunu için,
Kadıköy'ün kuruluşu, Bizans'tan, yani İstanbul'un kuruluşundan 17 yıl kadar öncedir. Kuruluş tarihi olarak M.Ö. 675 yılı kabul edilir. Fikirtepe'den sonraki ilk yerleşme bugünkü Moda Burnu ile Yoğurtçu arasında kalan yerde kurulan Halkedon (Bakır ülkesi) olmuştur. Bu şehirden günümüzen herhangi bir kalıntı ulaşmamıştır. Kalamış (Only the registered members can see the linkış)'tan, Moda'dan, Kuyubaşı'ndan ve Haydarpaşa (Only the registered members can see the linkşa) çevresinden gelecek öbek öbek halkı, gününe ve hava durumuna göre küçük ya da büyük kümeler halinde bu oyunu seyretmeye yöneltmekteydi. Kadıköy halkının çoğu ikindi sularında ayaklanır, günlerden cuma ve pazar değilse yani Kurbağalıdere'nin kenarındaki salaş tiyatroda Komik Hasan'ın tuluat kumpanyası oynanmıyorsa Kuşdili Çayırı'na doğru yola koyulurlardı. Günlerden cuma ya da pazar ise de, Moda'ya doğru ya da şimdiki Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadyumu'nun bulunduğu Papazın Çayırı'na doğru yola koyulurlardı. Omuzdaş kılıklı, burma bıyıklı tüylü tüysüz gençler, yanlarında boy boy çocuklarla hanım nineler ve de orta yaşlı hatunlar, Arap bacılar, ahretlikler, kahvede pineklemekten usanan efendi kişiler, burada çayırı çepeçevre kuşatır, kadınlar getirdikleri kilimleri yayarlar, erkeklerin kimi toprağa bağdaş kurar, kimi büyükçe bir taşa oturur, kimi ayakta dururdu. Sucusu, dondurmacısı, kağıt helvacısı, simitçisi, baloncusu, Eyüp oyuncakçısı velhasılı satıcıların her çeşidi burada arzı endam eyler, burayı adeta panayır yerinden farksız kılardı. Ortadaki saha olacak alanda ise, kapı gibi gövdeli, başları açık, renk renk gömleklerinin kolları sıvalı, göğüsleri fora, bacaklarından dizkapaklarına kadar şortlu bir alay adam soluk soluğa koşuşurlar, birbirlerine çarpıp çarpıp, alt alta üst üste mecelleşirler, güya da top oynarlardı. Oynanan bu futbollardan örnek alan bazı gençler, Kadıköy'ündeki arsalarda ya da geniş çayırlarda onlar gibi top oynamaya heveslenir, karman çorman bir biçimde, bir harradır bir gürradır gider, topa en çok vuranla onu en havalara yükselten erbab sayılırdı. Ne var ki bir süre sonra, bir başka deyişle 1900'lü yıllara iyice yaklaşılmasıyla birlikte, Moda'da oturan İngiliz gençlerinin artık modern futbolu oynamaya başlamaları ve dolayısıyla da oynadıkları futbolu daha seyredilir bir halde sunmaları, kendilerini hayran hayran seyreden Kadıköy'lü gençlerin yüreklerinde birtakım kıpırdanmalara sebep oluyor, onlar gibi organize bir takım kurma isteklerini ise, vazgeçilemez bir tutkuya dönüştürmeye başlıyordu.
Kadıköy Futbol Birliği

1890'lı yıllarda İstanbul (Only the registered members can see the linkİstanbul) Moda'da yaşayan İngiliz ailelerinden La Fontaine, Giraud, Whittall, Charnaud, Pears, Armitage aileleri Kadıköy ve Moda'nın çayırlarında kendi aralarında bu oyunu yeni yeni oynamaya başladıklarında, İzmir'de yaşayan İngiliz aileleri, Bornova çayırlarında bu oyunu çoktan oynamaya başlamışlardı bile. Zira sosyal ve idari bakımdan payitaht İstanbul'a uzak ve rahat iki şehir olan Selanik ile İzmir, 1870'li yıllarda Osmanlı'nın futbol oyunu için ilk taraftar bulduğu toprakları oluyor, futbol oyunu o dönemlerde dini inançların da etkisi ile Müslüman Türkler arasında gelişemediğinden, böylece de Osmanlı toprakları üzerinde ilk defa gayrimüslim ve ülkede yerleşmiş bulunan yabancı uyruklu vatandaşlar tarafından oynanıyordu.

Moda'da futbolla tanışan ilk ailelerin İstanbul'da İngiltere elçiliği personeli görevlileriyle aralarında yaptıkları maç rekabetini, 1894 (Only the registered members can see the link) yılında İzmir (Only the registered members can see the linkİzmir)'de Football Club Smyrne'nin kurulması ile birlikte İstanbul-İzmir rekabeti izlemeye başlıyordu. İzmir'de futbolun öncülüğünü yapan James La Fontaine, 1889 (Only the registered members can see the link) yılında İstanbul'a yerleştiğinde, Kadıköy'de İngilizlerin futbol ve ragbi karışımı bir oyun oynadıklarını görmüş ve onlarla kısa zamanda dostluk kurarak, daha iyi bildiği futbol oyununu onlara kabul ettirmişti. Tarihler 1897 yılını gösterdiğinde, James La Fontaine ve arkadaşları Kadıköy yakasında ilk kez bir futbol takımı olarak Kadıköy Futbol Birliği (Kadıköy Football Association) adı altında toplanıyor, takımı oluşturan İngiliz, Rum, Ermeni gençleri, genelde İstanbul'a sefere gelen İngiliz gemicilerle oynadıkları oyunlarını Kadıköy'ün çayırlarında sürdürüyor ve her akşamüstü, ilk bölümde geniş bir biçimde sunduğumuz, o kalabalık izleyici kitlesine de seyrettiriyorlardı. Bu karşılaşmalar halkın öylesine ilgisini çekmişti ki bu takım, iki yıl içerisinde İzmir Karması ile karşılıklı olarak futbol maçları yapmaya yönelmişti.
Siyah Çoraplılar

Rejimin baskısından gelebilecek her türlü tehli***i göze alan bu gençlerden, deniz öğrencisi Fuat Hüsnü (Kayacan), eski hariciyecilerden Reşat Danyal ve Mehmet Ali ile, Kuşdili'nde Papazın Çayırı adı verilen topraklarda meşin yuvarlağa vuruşlar yapan arkadaşları bu özlemin sona ermesini amaçlıyorlar ve 1899 yılında, devrin hafiye dikkatlerinden kaçmak ve hışımlarından korunmak amacıyla bir İngiliz adı altında Black Stocking FC (Siyah Çoraplılar Futbol Kulübü)'yi kuruyorlardı. Ancak siyah çorap ve kırmızı üst formaları ile Türk gençlerinin oluşturduğu bu ilk Türk spor ve futbol topluluğu daha ilk maçlarında hafiyelerin baskınına uğruyor ve hemen dağıtılıyordu.
1899: Fenerbahçe'nin gerçek kuruluş yılı

Burada dikkati çeken en önemli nokta, Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü'nün, Black Stocking FC ismi altında 1899 yılındaki bu ilk girişimindeki öncülük yapan gençler ile, ilerideki yıllarda kurulacak olan Kadıköy Futbol Kulübü (1902) ve Fenerbahçe Futbol Kulübü ( 1907 (Only the registered members can see the link)) adı altında toplanan gençlerin genelde aynı kişiler olacağıydı. Dolayısıyla FENERBAHÇE KULÜBÜ kuruluşunu gayri resmi olarak 1899 (Only the registered members can see the link) yılında gerçekleştirmiş, ne var ki iki kez kapatılmaları nedeni ile faaliyetlerine, ancak resmi kuruluş yılları olan 1907 yılında geçebilmişti. Görülen odur ki, Black Stocking FC ya da Kadıköy Futbol Kulübü adları, amaç karşısında birer araçtırlar. Ayrıca İstanbul'da kurulan futbol kulüplerinin listeleri incelendiğinde de, Moda Futbol Kulübü (1896), Cadi-Keuy Football Club (1899) ve Imogen ( 1900 (Only the registered members can see the link)) takımlarının İngiliz uyruklular tarafından, Elpis (1900) takımının Rumlar tarafından, Black Stocking (1899), Beşiktaş Jimnastik Kulübü, Galatasaray Spor Kulübü ve Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü'nün ise Osmanlı uyruklular tarafından kurulmuş oldukları da zaten görülmektedir.
1907: Resmi kuruluş tarihi

Türk gençleri bu yıllarda resmi formalı olmasa da rahat rahat top koşturur bir duruma gelmişti.

"Fener"Sonunda, içinde bulundukları tarihin de desteğinden güç alan Kadıköylü gençlerden, Hariciye Nazırı Asım ve Server Paşa'ların torunu Londra Sefareti Başkatibi Nuri Bey'in oğlu Ziya Bey ile Harekat Ordusu Feriki Tümgeneral Şevki Paşa'nın oğlu Ayetullah Bey ve de ünlü edebiyatçı Sami Paşazade Sezai Bey'in yeğeni Enver Necip Bey, Necip Bey'in Moda Başpınar sokak 3 numaralı evinin selamlık katında yaptıkları bir görüşme sonucunda kuracakları takımın ilk fikir harcını atıyorlardı. Gerekli olan parayı da finanse edecek olan dönemin zenginlerinden Saint Joseph mezunu Mühendis Nurizade Ziya Bey'e kulübün kurucu başkanlık şerefini, Osmanlı Bankası memurlarından Ayetullah Bey'e katiplik (sekreter) görevini, Bahriye Subayı Necip Bey'e de kaptanlık ve saymanlık görevini veriyorlardı.

Aynı görüşmede varılan fikir birliği ile de kuracakları kulübün adını oturdukları semtin güzelliğinden esinlenerek Fenerbahçe yapacaklar, amblemlerini Fenerbahçe Burnu'ndaki ışık saçan fenerden, formalarındaki renkleri ise Fenerbahçe'sindeki ilkbaharın sevimli müjdecisi papatyaların kıskançlık ve temizlik sembolü olan renklerinden yani sarı ile beyazdan alacaklardı.

Çoğu Fenerbahçe Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi olan, takımın ilk oyuncuları.Ertesi gün Baker Mağazası'ndan forma kumaşları alınıyor, Fener armalı kırtasiye malzemelerinin siparişleri veriliyor ve de dönemin güya Futbol Federasyon Başkanlığı görevini üstlenmiş kişisi James Lafontaine ile yapılan bir sohbette de sanki kendisinden icabet alınıyordu. Artık kurulacak olan kulübün ismi, başkanı, amblemi ve formaları seçilmiş, mesele sadece formaları giyerek bu ismi tescil ettirecek 11 Türk gencinin bir araya getirilmesine kalmıştı. Bu konuda da en mühim rolü St. Joseph Mektebi Türkçe Öğretmeni Enver Bey üstleniyordu.

Fenerbahçe Müzesi (Only the registered members can see the link)'nden bir mumya

gerizekalılar kulübü diye anılmaktadır.üç beş tane salak kurmuştur. Kulübün kuruluş günü olarak Ulu Önderimizim (Only the registered members can see the link) kulübü ziyaret tarihi olan 3 Mayıs (Only the registered members can see the link) kabul edilir. Kulübün kuruluş amacı ilk tüzüğünde şöyle belirtilmiştir,
Madde 2: türkiyenin yüz karası ve rezil kulübüde denilmektedir. Madde 3: Kulüp bilhassa askeri idmanlar icrası ve milli oyunların tamim ve ıslahı esbabına teşebbüs edecek ve küdâhte tecrübeleri icrasına müsait pavyonlar tesis ve küşâdına çalışacaktır. (Kulüp, özellikle askeri beden eğitimlerin yapımı ve milli oyunların yaygınlaştırılması ve disiplinli bir halde geliştirilmesiyle uğraşacak, ve kaybolan tecrübelerin kazanılmasına uygun “amatör şubeler” kurulması ve açılmasına çalışacaktır.)

Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadyumu (Only the registered members can see the link)

Kulüp Sultan Abdülhamid (Only the registered members can see the link)'in baskı yönetimi döneminde kurulmuştu. Bu yönetimde Türk gençleri bir kulübe üye olamıyor ve futbol oynayamıyorlardı. Songülen kulübün ilk başkanı seçildi. Ayetullah Bey (Only the registered members can see the link) ilk genel sekreterliğe , Necip Okaner ilk kaptanlığa getirildi. Fenerbahçe Burnu'ndaki deniz fenerinin kulübün amblemi üzerinde büyük etkisi oldu. Deniz feneri'nden etkilenerek kulüp renkleri sarı-beyaz yapıldı ve formalar bu renkte tasarlandı. Kulüp belirtkesi ve renkleri 1910 yılında Topuz Hikmet (Only the registered members can see the link) tarafından değiştirildi ve bugün de kulübün renkleri olan sarı-lacivert o dönemde kulüp renkleri oldu. Fenerbahçe'nin aktiviteleri 1908 yılına kadar gizlilik içinde sürdürüldü. 1908 yılındaki yasa ile tüm futbol kulüpleri yasal hale geldi. Fenerbahçe İstanbul Ligi (Only the registered members can see the link)'ne 1909 yılında katıldı ve ilk yılında 5.oldu. İlk takımın içinde Ziya Songül, Ayetullah Bey, Necip Okaner, Galip Kulaksızoğlu, Hassan Sami Kocamemi, Asaf Beşpınar, Enver Yetiker, Şevkati Hulusi Bey, Fuat Hüsnü Kayacan, Hamit Hüsnü Kayacan ve Nasuhi Baydar vardı. 1912-1913 sezonuna kadar kulüp bir başarı elde edemedi. 1912-1913 yılında ise namağlup şampiyon oldu.

Fenerbahçe, İngiliz Kraliyet ailesi deniz filosu personelleri ile Kurtuluş Savaşı (Only the registered members can see the link) boyunca birkaç kez karşılaşmıştır. Bazı İngiliz (Only the registered members can see the link) askerleri kendi özelliklerine göre (Topçular , İrlanda Muhafızları gibi) takımlar kurup İstanbul'da futbol oynamışlardır. Bu takımlar kendi aralarında ve yerel İstanbul (Only the registered members can see the link) takımları ile birçok maç yapmışlardır. Fenerbahçe, bu takımlarla yaptığı birçok maçı kazanmıştır. Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu (Only the registered members can see the link), Ulusal Ligi (Only the registered members can see the link) 1959 yılında kurdu. Fenerbahçe 1959 yılındaki bu ligi Galatasaray (Only the registered members can see the link)'ı toplamda 4-1 yenerek kazanmıştır. Sonraki sene Fenerbahçe Şampiyon Kulüpler Kupası (Only the registered members can see the link)'na katılmıştır. Bu kulübün Şampiyonlar Ligi'ne ilk katılımıdır. Elemelerde Csepel SC'yi 4-3 mağlup etmiş fakat ilk turda OGC Nice (Only the registered members can see the link) ile berabere biten maçın ardından 1-5 kaybetmişlerdir. Fenerbahçe 1960'ların en başarılı Türk Kulübü olmayı 10 Lig'in 5'ini kazanarak başarmıştır. Ayrıca bu 10 yılda 3 kere ikinci olmuşlardır.

Christoph Daum (Only the registered members can see the link), 2003-2006 yılları arasındaki teknik direktör

1970'lerde Fenerbahçe 4 defa daha ligi (Only the registered members can see the link) birinci bitirmeyi başarmıştır. Bu on yılda ayrıca ilk kez Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş (Only the registered members can see the link) ve Galatasaray (Only the registered members can see the link) dışından bir takım şampiyon olma başarısı göstermiştir. Trabzonspor (Only the registered members can see the link) 1970'lerin 10 yılı boyunca 4 kez lig (Only the registered members can see the link) şampiyonu olmayı başarmıştır. Fenerbahçe 1980'lerde 3 kez daha ligi zirvede tamamlamıştır. Bu süre zarfında Dört Büyükler,Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray (Only the registered members can see the link), Beşiktaş (Only the registered members can see the link) ve Trabzonspor (Only the registered members can see the link) en az 2 yıl şampiyon olmuşlardır. Galatasaray ve Beşiktaş Türkiye Ligi'nin 1990'lı yıllarını domine etmişler ve bu iki kulüp 10 sezonun 9'unu şampiyon kapamışlardır. Fenerbahçe ise sadece 1995-1996 yılında Carlos Alberto Parreira (Only the registered members can see the link) yönetiminde şampiyonluğa ulaşmışlardır.
Fenerbahçe 2001 yılında şampiyon olmuş ve en yakın rakibinin ligdeki hegemonyasını kırmıştır. Ertesi yıl yeni teknik direktör Werner Lorant (Only the registered members can see the link) yönetiminde Galatasaray'ın ardından lig (Only the registered members can see the link) 2.sırada tamamlamışlardır. Sonraki sezon Ariel Ortega (Only the registered members can see the link)'lı kadroya rağmen işlerin iyi gitmemesi ile takım ligi ancak 6.sırada tamamlamıştır. Fakat bu sezonda Fenerbahçe, ezelî rakibini 6 Kasım (Only the registered members can see the link) 2002 (Only the registered members can see the link)'de Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadyumu (Only the registered members can see the link)'nda 6-0 mağlup etmeyi başarmıştır. Werner Lorant'ın görevden alınmasından sonra, bir başka Alman (Only the registered members can see the link) teknik direktör Christoph Daum (Only the registered members can see the link) takımın başına etirilmiştir. Daum, daha önce Beşiktaş (Only the registered members can see the link) ile 1994-95 sezonunda görev yapmış ve şampiyonluk yaşamıştı. Fenerbahçe Pierre van Hooijdonk (Only the registered members can see the link), Mehmet Aurelio (Only the registered members can see the link) ve Fabio Luciano (Only the registered members can see the link) gibi yeni futbolcular alıp kadroda yapılanma sürecine girdi. Bu yeni futbolcular ile Fenerbahçe 15.Türkiye Ligi (Only the registered members can see the link) şampiyonluğuna ulaştı.

Ertesi yıl Trabzonspor (Only the registered members can see the link)'un, önünde şampiyon olunarak 16.Türkiye Ligi (Only the registered members can see the link) şampiyonluğuna ulaşıldı. Fenerbahçe 2005-06 sezonunda şampiyonluk yarışını son haftada ezelî rakibine bıraktı. Fenerbahçe ligin son haftasında aradığı galibiyeti bulamayınca ezelî rakibi şampiyonluğa ulaştı. Sonrasında, Christoph Daum istifa etti yerine 4 Temmuz (Only the registered members can see the link) 2006 (Only the registered members can see the link)'da Arthur Zico (Only the registered members can see the link) getirildi. Zico başta iki yeni savunmacıyı takımına ekledi. Bunlar Uruguay Millî Futbol Takımı (Only the registered members can see the link) stoperi Diego Lugano (Only the registered members can see the link) ve Brezilyalı Edu Dracena (Only the registered members can see the link) idi. Zico ayrıca iki forveti sarı lacivertli renklere bağladı. Bunlar Sırbistan Millî Futbol Takımı (Only the registered members can see the link)'ndan Mateja Kezman (Only the registered members can see the link) ve bir başka Brezilyalı (Only the registered members can see the link) Deivid de Souza (Only the registered members can see the link) idi. Fenerbahçe, 100. yılı olan 2006-07 sezonu (Only the registered members can see the link) 6-0'lık Kayseri Erciyesspor (Only the registered members can see the link) galibiyeti ile başladı. Topuz Hikmet'in anlatımıyla Fenerbahçe ambleminin öyküsü:
Kulübümüzün rengi sarı-beyazdan, sarı-laciverte çevrildikten sonra bu yeni renklerle bir amblem yaptırılması gündeme geldi. Arkadaşlarım bu amblemin çizilmesini benden rica ettiler. İlk önce bayrağımızın renkleri kırmızı ile beyazı bir araya getirdim. Sonra kırmızı üzerine bir kalp şekli çizerek bunu sarı-laciverte boyadım ve üzerine de metanet, kuvvet ve sağlamlığın ifadesi olan meşe dalını resmettim. Beyaz kısma da kulübümüzün ismini ve kuruluş tarihini yazdım. Rozetimizi çizerken, ona şu manayı vermeye çalıştım; Kalpten gelen bir bağımlılıkla bu kulübe hizmet etmek. Çizdiğim şekil arkadaşlarım tarafından beğenildi ve yeni amblem o tarihlerde Almanya'da bulunan Tevfik Haccar'ın aracılığıyla orada yaptırıldı. Yeni harflerin kabulünden sonra aynı şekilde muhafaza edildi. Sadece Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü 1907 yazısı yeni harflerle değiştirildi.

Stad 1908 (Only the registered members can see the link) yılında açılmıştır ve 1999 (Only the registered members can see the link) - 2006 (Only the registered members can see the link) yılları arasında yenilenerek kapasitesi arttırılmıştır. 4 Ekim (Only the registered members can see the link) 2006 (Only the registered members can see the link)'da UEFA (Only the registered members can see the link) tarafından yapılan incelemeler sonucunda 2009 (Only the registered members can see the link) UEFA Kupası (Only the registered members can see the link) finalinin bu statta yapılması kararlaştırılmıştır. Mayıs ayından itibaren stad bakıma alınıp üstü tamamen kapatılacak ve ayrıca 6.000 kişilik bir kapasite artışı olacaktır.Ayrıca loca sayısında artış olacak ve stad kapasitesi 60.000'e yaklaşacaktır.

Faruk Ilgaz Sosyal Tesisleri, kulüp ana binasının yanına kurulmuştur. 15 Mayıs 1969'da kurulmasına rağmen Aziz Yıldırım (Only the registered members can see the link) tarafından restore edildi ve 21 Ocak 2004 tarihinde açıldı..
Samandıra Antreman Tesisleri'nin, yapımı 1997 yılında Ali Şen (Only the registered members can see the link)’in başkanlığı döneminde başlandı. 2000 yılında tamamlandı.Ana takımın kamp merkezidir..
Dereağzı Metin Aşık Kamp Tesisleri, Dereağzı'nda kurulmuştur ve Fenerbahçe PAF (Only the registered members can see the link) takımına hizmet vermektedir.1989'da yeniden açılmıştır. Tesis Fenerbahçe'nin boks,yelken gibi takımlarına hizmet vermektedir.
Genç Futbol Akademisi, Metin Aşık Kamp Tesisleri'nin yanın kurulmuştur.1999 yılında yapılarak Fenerbahçe Genç takımlarına hizmet vermektedir.
Fikirtepe Tesisleri, Yumurtacı Abdi Bey Yolu üzerinde , Kadıköy (Only the registered members can see the link)'e kurulmuştur.1 Temmuz 1998'da açılmıştır. Futbolcu yetiştirmek için kullanılmaktadır..
