In this online course, you install and manage Microsoft Windows Server 2008. You add Windows Server 2008 server roles as well as monitor Windows Server 2008 by using the various built in monitoring tools. In addition, you implement Windows Server 2008 Server Core. This also helps you prepare for certification exam 70-649. This online course is composed of a rich multimedia experience coupled with comprehensive technical labs. This course also helps you prepare to become a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS). To get the most out of this course it is recommended that you have MCSE or *****alent experience implementing Windows Server 2003. This content is based upon a pre-released version of Windows. Purchasers of this content will automatically receive updated content based upon the final release of Windows Server 2008 when it becomes available, at no additional charge.

At the end of the course, students will be able to:
* Install Windows Server 2008.
* Add server roles and features in Windows Server 2008.
* Implement Windows Server 2008 Server Core.

* A Pentium II, 256 MB RAM with a processor speed greater than or equal to 400 MHZ
* Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or higher

* Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher
* Microsoft XML Core Services 3.0 or higher

* Internet bandwidth of 56K or faster. Broadband internet access is recommended.
